Solubilising the Insoluble - Formulation Approaches
The Formulation Science & Technology (FST) interest group of the Royal Society of Chemistry is organising a 1-day online event on formulation approaches to improve dissolution rate/solubility of poorly water-soluble actives on Thursday the 2nd of December 2021.
Solubility of active pharmaceutical ingredients is critical for the drug development process and currently it is a major concern in the industry. This one-day meeting aims to explore current advancements in addressing this issue via innovative formulation approaches.
Our scientific event will aim to explore various approaches to overcome the poor solubility of APIs. The meeting will consist of invited talks from industrial and academic experts on topics such as:
• Applications and advancements in extrusion technology
• Green processing of pharmaceuticals using supercritical fluid technology
• Advancements in microfluidics and its applications.
• Application of nanocarriers etc.
Participation at the event is free of charge, but registration is compulsory. PLEASE REGISTER HERE
