Mr. Alexander Kerr is Formulations Development Manager at Micropore Technologies, a market leader expert in emulsification technology. Mr. Kerr leads Micropore’s fast growing formulation development team and has led projects ranging from encapsulation for construction and self-healing materials, to high value pharmaceutical products. After acquiring a master’s degree in chemistry from the University of Sussex, Mr. Kerr worked at Lambson Limited, a UK speciality chemicals company, focusing on the development of novel, gelatine-free, complex coacervates and their applications in the FMCG market. Since starting at Micropore Mr. Kerr has advanced Micropore’s capabilities in encapsulation across industries, with extensive work on drug delivery systems including PLGA microspheres and lipid nanoparticles.
